This Tough Crop Can deal with less moisture, but it is still hungry for nitrogen
Protect Surface Applications of Urea and UAN From Loss
N YIELD™ stabilizer provides protection against losses due to volatilization. Those losses occur when the nitrogen fertilizer is applied at or near the surface. Then, a little bit of moisture in the presence of urease is all that it takes. Your nitrogen can gas off as ammonia into the air, without benefiting the crop.
N YIELD protects your urea-based fertilizer investment by inhibiting urease, a specific enzyme found in the soil, on crop residue, even the leaves of growing plants. By keeping urea from breaking down on the surface, your fertilizer has time to catch a rain or be irrigated into the soil. Once it is watered in, the nitrogen is attracted to the soil particles.

If You Need Protection Against Leaching, We Have You Covered
Admittedly, if you are growing sorghum you aren’t likely to have an abundance of moisture. But you may have sandy soils.
N-BOUND will protect most forms of nitrogen; including anhydrous, ammonium nitrate, urea and UAN from leaching. It keeps your nitrogen in the ammonium form longer. This positively-charged nitrogen clings to the soil particles more effectively. Left unprotected, ammonium transforms to negatively-charged nitrate, which can get washed out of the root zone.
N-BOUND can be mixed with N YIELD for protecting your urea and UAN from losses on the surface and in the soil.
